Promoting the cultural industry
DocsLab is DocsMX's training, meeting and documentary creation space. A space that for 14 years has served as a detonator of new projects, has fostered a new generation of documentary filmmakers from all over Ibero-America and has been a promoter of ideas and generator of a community of filmmakers around the country. Through four laboratories, we create a space of accompaniment for the development of filmmakers' projects, supporting them with creative resources, consulting, master classes, talks, discussions and connections with other documentary filmmakers, as well as with national and international specialists. This year, 32 projects were selected to participate in the fourteenth edition of DocsLab, in which 25 prizes will be awarded thanks to our partner institutions: Bolivia Lab, Chemistry, Conecta, DocMontevideo, EFD, El Taller, Estudios Churubusco, FICG, FIDBA, IDA, Jacalito Films, LCI, Marketing Movie Runner, Miradas Doc, New Art, Perro Negro, Réplica Films, Script Sounding and Universidad de la Comunicación.
