He studied psychology at UDLAP. He has been a jury member in various national and international film festivals. He was part of the programming team at FICUNAM and is a founding member of the Mexican Network of Cinematographic Festivals AC, and director and programmer of Cinetekton! International Film and Architecture Festival. Head of the Department of the Secretary of Culture of Puebla at the Luis Buñuel Cinematheque where he coordinates film activities. He currently coordinates the exhibition tour of DocsMX.
